Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test (KTET) & Exam Date

The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan and the Kerala Government Education Board (KGEB) conjointly will release the Next Kerala TET notification 2023 in the month of October. The Upcoming Kerala TET Exam 2023 will be conducted on the month of May 2023. The registration for the KTET December Exam 2023 can be done through the official website of Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan and the portal will be initiated from October 2023 and the last date for registration will be intimated through the official website.

A candidate who wishes to apply for more than one category need to register only once through the portal and need not apply separately for each category. The KTET applications are submitted and accepted in the online form only. And applicant should also be vigilant while filling up the candidate’s name, date of birth, category and reservation certificate details. While submitting the application the candidates should note to upload a photograph taken within six months from the date of notification.

• 45% in Higher Secondary/ Senior Higher Secondary Qualification and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education approved by NCTE (2002)

OR

• 50% in Higher Secondary/ Senior Higher Secondary Qualification and 4-year B.El.Ed. Ed (Bachelor of Elementary Education)

OR

• 50% in Higher Secondary/ Senior Higher Secondary Qualification and 2-year D.Ed. (Special Education)

2. What is the required educational qualification for KTET Category 2?

• 45% in BA/ B. Com/ B.Sc. and a pass in B.Ed. /D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) mandated by NCTE.

• 50% in Higher Secondary/ Senior Higher Secondary Qualification and 4-year B.El.Ed. Ed (Bachelor of Elementary Education)
