The registration for the application started on 3^rd A pril 2023 and the last date to apply for the exam is on 17^th April 2023. The KTET 2023 Exam pattern for all the exams follows a similar scheme on the number of questions asked that is all categories will have a total of 150 questions covering a total duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. The specific pattern for each category are given below.

KTET Syllabus 2023

The Kerala TET syllabus 2023 is released in the official website for the various categories. The category 1 exams are designated for Lower Primary level teachers, category 2 exams for Upper primary School Teachers, category 3 exams for High School level teachers and category 4 for specialist teachers. There will be a separate paper on psychology or subject related pedagogy for each category which is mainly used to determine how the candidates can combat challenges involved in teaching. KTET 2023 Study Plan for Category 1

The KTET 2023 Study plan for category 1 should be devised by giving more importance for the paper 1 subjects that have the most weightage. The paper 1 syllabus covers Child Development & pedagogy, Mathematics and Environmental Science. And the language subjects can be given least weightage as the candidates can choose their vernacular language for any of the language paper.
