The RRB Group D Court Case 2025 was filed over the eligibility criteria for the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Level 1 posts under CEN No. 08/2024. The dispute was whether the RRB Group D recruitment should be limited to ITI qualified candidates or open to 10th pass candidates as well. The case was heard by the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), Delhi Bench, under case number CONT.CAS(C) - 1415/2025. 

The hearing delayed RRB Group D recruitment for months, leaving lakhs of candidates in uncertainty. RRB Group D exam date 2025 was earlier scheduled from November 17 to December 31, 2025. Candidates throughout India awaited the CAT's final RRB Group D Court verdict on RRB Group D 2025 eligibility and the exam schedule.

RRB Group D Court Verdict on 12 November 2025

On November 12, 2025, the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) delivered its final RRB Group D Court Case 2025 Verdict, officially dismissing the petition and updating the case status to “Disposed.” 

As per the CAT’s ruling, both 10th pass and ITI candidates are eligible to appear for the RRB Group D Exam 2025. The earlier RRB Group D exam schedule planned from November 17 to December 31, 2025 has now been postponed, and the new RRB Group D exam dates 2025 will be announced soon on the official RRB websites.

This RRB Group D Court Case 2025 Verdict clears the way for the RRB Group D Recruitment 2024-25 (CEN No. 08/2024), which offers 32438 vacancies across Indian Railways.
