The notice for the SSC CHSL 2024 recruitment was dropped in Staff Selection Commission’s official site on 8^th April, 2024. The window of application is open for the eligible candidate now. The exams for SSC CHSL 2024 is two tiered. The tentative dates for both the tiers are not mentioned. Anyhow SSC has included CHSL Tier I examination in 2024 June-July Exam cycle.

The salary for the posts notified for SSC CHSL Recruitment 2024 are as follows:

• Lowe Division Clerk (LDC) / Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
  • Level 2 Pay: ₹ 19,900 – 63,200
• Data Entry Operator (DEO)
  • Level 4 Pay: ₹ 25,500 – 81.100

2024 CHSL Application

Application for CHSL 2024 can be submitted only through online means. Candidates who have already registered in the official site shall proceed to apply for SSC CHSL with the same login credentials.

Candidates applying SSC for the first time should register in the official site by providing their basic details as inquired in the registration page. Only online registration and application is accepted for CHSL 2024.

Candidates registering for the first time should get the photograph and signature as prescribed in the official notice beforehand.

Image Properties:

• Photograph of the candidate must be captured on a plain background with sufficient light to get a clear image of the face.
• Make sure the camera is levelled up to candidate’s eyes before taking the photo.
• Candidates are advised to look straight to the camera and avoid wearing cap, mask or glass/spectacles in Photo.
• Scanned image of signature must be JPEG / JPG format. The size of the image must be in between 10 – 20 KB. And the scanned image should be of 4.0 cm (width) X 2.0 cm (height).
• Do not upload blurred photographs or signatures, which will in turn result in the rejection.

Candidates can edit or make correction in the details provided on 10^th and 11^th of May, 2024. Candidates must also pay the correction charges (if any) within the stipulated time.

SSC CHSL 2024 Application Fee

Candidates need to pay ₹ 100 /- as SSC CHSL 2024 application fee before 8^th May 2024. Application fee shall be paid online by means of BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Credit or Debit Cards.

Candidates belonging to SC / ST communities, PwBD persons , Ex-servicemen and women candidates are exempted from fee payment.

Applicants must make sure that the fee has been paid and received by SSC before the mentioned deadline. In any other case the the application will be considered as rejected and applicants cannot appear for the SSC CHSL 2024 Exam.

SSC CHSL 2024 Last Date to Apply

Candidates can apply for the CHSL exam from 8^th April, 2024. The last date to apply for Combined Higher Secondary Level examination 2024 is 7^th May, 2024. Al l aspirants are advised to complete registration (if required) and payment before the deadline. The last date for applying won’t be extended as per the present information from SSC.

SSC CHSL 2024 Eligibility.

Candidates applying for the examination must ensure that they satisfy all eligibility criteria as per the SSC CHSL notification 2024. Eligibility Criteria for the SSC CHSL Exam include nationality / citizenship, age limit and essential educational qualification.

SSC CHSL Educational Qualification

For DEO / DEO Grade ‘A’ (in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and Ministry of Culture) candidates have a pass in 12^th standard Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from recognized Board or equivalent.

For LDC/JSA and DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ (except for the ministries or departments mentioned above) candidates must have passed 12^th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
