Kerala High Court Assistant Exam

There will be three phases for High Court assistant recruitment.

  • Objective Test
  • Descriptive Test
  • Interview

Objective Test

The objective OMR test is conducted for 100 marks. Questions will be asked from General English, General Knowledge, Basic Mathematics & Reasoning.

There will be a total of 100 questions and each question carries 1 mark for right answer and negative ΒΌ mark for wrong answer. Candidates will be given 75 minutes to complete the test. Also. candidates must score 40% or above in order to be shortlisted for interview session.

Descriptive Test

The descriptive test will start immediately after the objective test. Here questions will be asked for 60 marks. And time allowed is 60 minutes. Candidates have to finish precis, comprehension and short essays within the prescribed time. Meticulous time management and high proficiency in English language is required to complete this phase successfully. Only the tests taken by those candidates who have scored the minimum marks in Objective Test will be evaluated.

Interview

Interview session will be held for 10 marks. Candidates must score a minimum of 5% in this session in order to be included in the final ranked list.

Kerala High Court Assistant Qualification

Qualifications for Kerala High Court Assistant posts are as follows:

The candidate must have at least 50% marks in Bachelor's or Master's or Law degree from any of the Universities in Kerala. Also, the above-mentioned degrees from any of the universities recognised by Universities in Kerala will be also considered for recruitment. Knowledge in computer operations will be considered as a desired qualification. Any candidates with less than 50% mark need not to apply. The application form should indicate the equivalent percentage of marks, and candidate should be able to produce the original certificate during the recruitment process. Therefore, candidates must have acquired all qualifications before the online application closes.

Kerala High Court Assistant Registration

The online application process consists of two parts: Step – I and Step – II. Candidates must complete both steps, including submitting their application and paying the application fee. They must have a valid mobile number or email ID, which will be used for recruitment related communications.

A scanned image of their photograph and signature is required before applying online.
