The vacancies reported above are now in existence. Further, the rank list that is been prepared as part of this recruitment will be valid for a minimum period of one year or a maximum period of 3 years. However, if a new Rank list is released after a period of one year, the old list ceases to exist. In the event of more vacancies being reported, the remaining candidates included in the rank list will be considered for the new vacancies.

KDRD Thali Eligibility

The most important eligibility condition required for Thali in Devasom Boards is a pass in SSLC or an equivalent qualification as prescribed in the notification. The mode of recruitment is direct with an age limit of 18 to 36 years and permissible relaxation is allowed for SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD candidates.

Devasom Board Thali Salary

The Devasom Board Thali Salary scale ranges from Rs 11,500 to Rs 18,940. This Board which comes under the Kerala State government manages over 3000 temples across the state.

Apart from these basic qualifications the notification also mandates that a candidate applying for this post should belong to Hindu religious Community, with a basic knowledge of temple culture and its rituals.

Special Instructions to Note: -

• Even though the notification has certain terms on which it overlays the upper age limit to be 50 years, the departmental candidates enjoy an age relaxation as designated by the recruitment board.
• Candidates who are already serving in the Travancore Devasom Board as temporary employees but have attempted the written test for the same are eligible for grace marks with a weightage of ‘1’ mark for an experience of 3 years. Likewise, a maximum mark of ‘5’ can be obtained.
• Further, for in-department candidates who are being recruited via an interview, a maximum grace mark of two and a half marks can be designated in the pattern, half mark for the first three years and ‘0.16’ marks for each preceding year of experience.
• The candidates who belong to the above-mentioned category must produce a service certificate issued from an officer, not below the rank of a duty commissioner to the Kerala Devasom Board.
• Hindus belonging to unreserved communities but are economically weaker will be given 10% reservation.

• Now the website handle will have an ‘Apply Now’ tab, which helps you to carry out the ‘One Time Registration’ where the user can generate an ID and password which can be used for all future applications.
• The online recruitment management system or ‘Devajalakam’ is used as a single portal for registration and application submission.
• The photograph uploaded to the profile must be taken within three months before the date of the upload.
• Candidates also have a ‘Print’ option available with the profile in order to save a copy of the submitted application.
• If any discrepancies are found in the application or in the subsequent verification processes, then the candidature will be summarily rejected.
