UPSA Results -171st Rank- Nayana

There is a striking comment that Nayana used to repeat in her speech before receiving the memento. “There might be people saying that they are always with us, but only few among them will stand for us in our good and worst situations”. This comment has a fire in it. Do you know why? Because she has endured lot of struggles to reach this far. She has nobody else to thank, but only her parents, brother and aunt who stood with her in her bad situations.

Nayana’s words

“I’m coming from a small village called Elappara, in Idukki. Many of you might be unfamiliar with my native place, it is located near Vagamon. I feel indeed proud and elated when I stand on this stage after going through a really bad situation. There might be people saying that they are always with us, but only few among them will stand for us in our good and worst situations. Today, my parents have also come with me. We are now residing in Kanjirappali district in Kottayam. My father has to travel 3 hours daily, and in between his busy schedule too he never forgets to ask about my UPSA online classes. My mother is not well. Even if she has certain health issues, she always compels me not to do any of the house chores. I have a brother who is now working in Bangalore. He couldn’t attend the function and I miss him a lot. I know that many of your parents/ life partners accompany you during the time of exam, but for me it is my aunt who always accompany me for my Kerala PSC exam. CC was a turning point in life. I woke up daily listening to the audio lectures of Asha ma’am. Not only me, but also my parents listen to those lectures every day. LPSA psychology classes taken by Athira ma’am was awesome. For every exam I used to always a particular topic ie; “Renaissance”. But because of Shilpa miss’s Renaissance class, I somehow managed to study the topic which I always feared to attend. Social Science classes by Shiji miss, and the classes taken by Deepu Sir and Vishnu Sir were just superb. Yamuna miss’s teaching method was so interesting, she used to teach us like teaching LKG students by repeating each and every word. When most of the people demotivated me by saying that I will not get a government job, I got the confidence of attending an interview only because of Asha ma’am. Thank You so much CC team.”
