UPSA Results- Supplementary List 1st Rank- Sinju Mathew

We, humans are always concerned about our small failures and we are not patient enough to wait for a bright future waiting for us. We must learn from the life of certain people who are taking everything in an optimistic spirit. Take a look at the life of Sinju who is the mother of two children and who is now ranked 1st in the PSC supplementary list. She is not sure about her appointment, even then she has a hope in her life. Her confidence in herself will make her a ranholder in the future.

Sinju’s words

“Actually, I’m not a native of Trissur, I’m from Ernakulam. I wrote my Kerala PSC UPSA exam in Trissur. I joined in Competitive Cracker for the capsule course and I got only 24 days to prepare for the exam. Though I have studied Psychology during my B.Ed., I have no idea on this particular subject (I completed my B.Ed. in 2007). It is through the UPSA capsule course, I could understand the basic concepts of Psychology. The class was taken by Priyanka miss and by watching the whole class, I got an overall idea on the preparation strategies from her single class. My main subject is Science, and I was not at all interested to study other subjects like G K, Current Affairs etc. It was Asha ma’am’s class that evoked my interest in certain areas like Five-year plan. I have two children and it was difficult for me to study in between a busy schedule with the children, so I found my own ways for my studies. Sometimes I utilized their sleeping time because otherwise they would fight each other. The teachers assign daily study portions. I hardly get enough time to study, nevertheless I somehow managed to study as much portions as I can. It is the motivational video of Asha Madam and Sreekala madam that made me think for myself. Since I’m in the supplementary list, I’m not sure whether I will get the job. If I miss the chance for this time, I’m sure that I’ll attain a better rank for the next LPSA exam or UPSA exam.
