SSC Central Armed Forces Recruitment – Vacancies, Salary etc.

SSC Recruitment for the candidates to the Armed Forces is now the most recent update regarding the Staff Selection Commission. The application submission is not particularly for the men candidates but also for the women candidates. It is not just for a single post, but for various posts including Constable GD in Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) & Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Rifleman in Assam Rifles (GD) and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Board. The mode of application is not offline but online. The medium of instruction will be strictly Hindi or English for the Computer Based Examination. CAPFs will be scheduling and conducting PET/ Physical Efficiency Test (PST) or Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/ RME (Review Medical Examination).

The verification of the eligibility certificates and other necessary documents of the candidates will be carried out during the DME (Detailed Medical Examination) by the Central Armed Police Forces. SSC Admit Card for the different stages of Exam can be downloaded from the official website and it will not be sent via post.

The Required Qualification
The minimum qualification for these exams (SSC Exam Qualification) is matriculation or tenth. The candidates should also attend the Physical tests, where there are certain eligibility conditions as per the rules. For males, the height should be 170 cm and the chest measurement should be 80 cm (For ST Candidates it 1162.5 cm & 76-81 cm). In case of women candidates, the height should be 157 cm (ST-150 cm) and the weight will be measured considering the height. The age limit given is between 18-23 (SC/ ST Candidates have 5 years and OBC Candidates have 3 years relaxation). The expected salary scale according to the SSC notification is 21,700-69,100 (Level 3), 18,000-56,900 (Level 1). The exam will be completely Computer Based Exam (CBE) followed by it there will be endurance test, medical test, document verification etc. The exam centers in Kerala include; Kannur, Ernakulam, Kollam, Kottayam, Kottayam, Kozhikode, Trissur, Thiruvananthapuram etc. There is no exam fee for women, SC/ST, and Ex-Service men, while for the others (Men), the fee is 100 Rs.
