ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The candidates shall be Indian nationals with certain exceptions for other nationals as specified in the advertisement. The RBI Assistant age limit is designated in the range of 20 years to 28 years. Further, relaxations in the age limit are applicable for reserved categories.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.
• A candidate belonging to the Ex-servicemen category (except dependents of ex-servicemen) should either be a graduate from a recognized University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defense service.
• Candidates applying for a post in a particular recruiting Office should be proficient in the language (i.e., know to read, write, speak, and understand the language) of the state/ any of the states falling under the recruiting Office.

RBI ASSISTANT SALARY

Selected candidates shall draw a basic pay of Rs 20,700/- per month which will be scaled up as permissible from time to time. The overall scale including monthly gross emoluments for Assistants will be approximately Rs 47,849/-.

The scheme and pattern of the RBI Assistant exam are given below. The recruitment will be taken in three stages a preliminary exam, a Main exam, and a Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

The candidates who are provisionally shortlisted after the main examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). The test will be conducted in the local language or the official language of the state selected by the candidate AT the time of application.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The essential qualification to apply for this recruitment is a graduation in any discipline. Further, the SBI PO Age limit ranges between 21 years and 30 years. Candidates with Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, and Cost Accountant qualifications can also apply for this post.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Apart from the basic degree qualification candidates with Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, and Cost Accountant qualifications can also apply for this post. However, candidates who were studying in their final year or semester shall be liable to produce proof of graduation at the time of the interview.

SBI PO SALARY

The starting basic pay is Rs 41,960/- with four advance increments up to Rs 63,840/-. Also, the candidates selected shall be eligible to enjoy emoluments like DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Contributed Pension Fund, and further other allowances like NPS, LFC, Medical Facility, Lease rental facility, etc. will be upgraded from time to time.

The exam pattern and scheme for the SBI PO exam are given below. The selection test for Probationary Officers will be conducted in three phases namely a preliminary exam, a mains level exam, and phase III which consists of a Psychometric test, Group Exercise, and Interview.
