The HSST Social Work category number is 483/2019 and this recruitment is a state-wide recruitment. And there is only one vacancy reported in this particular post. The ranked list of selected candidates shall remain in force for a minimum of one year or till the publication of new list whichever is earlier.

4. Importance Kerala PSC HSST Social Work Exam 2023

The HSST in Social Work exam is of paramount importance as the post that was gazetted in 2019, conducts its exam on 2023. The average salary offered is between Rs 39,500 to Rs 83,000.

5. PSC HSST Social Work Exam 2023 Eligibility

The requisite qualifications for this post are mentioned below.

  1. Master’s Degree in concerned subject with a minimum 50% marks awarded by the Universities in Kerala or an equivalent qualification in concerned subject recognized by Government of Higher Education, Kerala.

  1. B.Ed. Degree in the concerned subject acquired through regular course study from any of the Universities of Kerala or qualification recognized equivalent to it.

OR

In the absence of B.Ed. Degree in the concerned subject, then B.Ed. Degree obtained in concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala.

OR

In the absence of candidates with any of the above-mentioned qualification, then persons with B.Ed. Degree in any of the subject acquired through regular course study under Universities of Kerala will be considered.

  1. The candidates should also possess the State Eligibility Test (SET) qualification for the post of Higher Secondary School Teachers conducted by the Government of Kerala.

Note:

  1. In the absence of B.Ed. Degree holders, candidates having Master’s Degree with less than 50% marks and a qualification SET exam will be considered.
  2. Persons with M.Ed. Degree in concerned subject recognized by University of Kerala are exempted from B.Ed. Degree.
  3. Relaxation of 5% of marks in Post Graduation will be given to reserved categories.

6. PSC HSST Social Work Exam 2023 Exam Admit Card

The admit card for PSC HSST Social Work exam 2023 will be released on 28th April 2023. The candidates will be intimated about the admit card release by the third week of April 2023. Thereby, the applicants can download the admit cards from their PSC Thulasi Profile.
