Non-Vocational Teacher Mathematics (By transfer) Recruitment

Kerala VHSE Department is going to conduct the exam for the post of NVT/ Non-Vocational Teacher in Mathematics. Kerala PSC notified the recruitment news on 30th December, 2022. The application should be submitted online by completing the one-time registration process and if you have already registered, then you are free to apply for the exam. The method of appointment is by transfer and the number of anticipated vacancies is 1. The candidates born on or before 1st January 1999 are only eligible to apply for this particular exam. Since it is a transfer recruitment, the upper age limit is not applicable.

Age Limit	Only candidates born on or before 01.01.1999 are eligible to apply for this post. Upper age limit is not applicable for By Transfer recruitment.

What are the qualifications necessary for this post?

• Post-Graduation with at least 50 percent marks in the concerned subject from any of the Universities in Kerala or an equivalent qualification.
• B.Ed. Degree in the specific subject from any of the Universities in Kerala or an equivalent qualification.
• In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree in the concerned subject, B.Ed. Degree in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala.
• Must have passed the State Eligibility Test in the concerned subject for the post of Non-Vocational Teacher conducted by Government of Kerala or by the Agency authorized by the State Government.
• M.Ed. qualified candidates are exempted from B.Ed. qualification and those who have Ph.D./MPhil/post-doctoral fellowship will be awarded weightage marks.

• Non-Qualifying M.Phil. - 2 marks
• Non-Qualifying Ph.D. - 4 marks
• Both M.Phil. and Ph.D. (Non-Qualifying) - 5 marks
• Post-Doctoral Fellowship - 2 marks
• Those who are SLET (College Lecturer) qualified are exempted from SET qualification (NVT).
• Those who have passed SET exam for the Higher Secondary School Teacher post (Govt of Kerala) are exempted from SET for NVT.
• NET /JRF fellows are exempted from State Eligibility Test and those who have Ph.D./ M.Phil./ M.Ed. Degree shall be exempted from passing the State Eligibility Test.
• A candidate who has submitted his/her PhD thesis and qualified Masters in Philosophy are exempted from SET qualification.
