KTET aka Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test constituted by Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan is a qualification exam to equip school teachers in combating all kinds of challenges faced in schooling. This exam established as per the R.T.E Act 2009 has been made mandatory by the Kerala Government in PSC recruitments statewide.

The KTET exam covers four categories as listed below,

• Category 1 – Lower Primary Classes
• Category 2 – Upper Primary Classes
• Category 3 – High School Classes
• Category 4 – Specialist Teachers/ Language Teachers

Note: -

• Candidates who have qualified C-TET Primary stage are exempted from KTET Category 1 and for those who have qualified C-TET Elementary stage are exempted from writing KTET Category 2.
• Candidates with NET, SET, M.Phil., Ph.D., and M.Ed. are exempted from qualifying KTET categories 1 to 4.
• Candidates with KTET Category 3 are exempted from qualifying KTET Category 2.
• Candidates with either KTET Category 1 or 2 are eligible to apply for LP and UP recruitments by the Kerala PSC.

Next KTET Exam Notification 2023

KTET Exam Notification 2023 is yet to be released and the aspirants can expect the exam notification to be out by the month of August or September whichever is earlier. The KTET Exam prospectus is available through the official website @ http://ktet.kerala.gov.in, https://pareekshabhavan.kerala.gov.in, and www.scert.kerala.gov.in.

The candidates shall find all the requisite information required to apply for the exam in each category in the prospectus. And the application fees levied for each category will be Rs 500 for the general category and Rs 250 for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates. Further, the applications are to be submitted only through the online mode and any other physical mode of submission will not be entertained.

KTET 2023 Registration

Candidates registering for the exam shall note the following points before starting the online application.

• A candidate who wants to write more than one Category shall only apply once through the portal and there is no need for separate applications for the same.
• Applications need to be submitted only through the online mode.
• Candidate’s name, Date of Birth, basic educational qualification, caste, category, reservation details, etc.
• Also, the applicants should upload a photograph taken 6 months before the application date.
• Photographs uploaded should clearly indicate the date and the name of the candidate at the bottom.
• There should not be any seal marks over the photograph that is been uploaded.
• The background plane of the photograph must be a plane.
• The photograph format should be legible and proper.
• While submitting the application, the candidates must keep anyone Identity Card as proof and the same must be produced at the time of the exam to the irrespective invigilator.
• Any queries or doubts regarding the fee submission must be intimated directly to the S.C.E.R.T, Director, or the respective Bank partner.

KTET exam Hall Ticket 2023

Hall tickets can be downloaded from the official website prior to weeks before the exam. In order to download the Hall Ticket, the candidates must produce the Application Number and Application ID. All candidates must therefore produce valid Admission Tickets, otherwise, the candidates will not be permitted to write the exam. Also, the candidates should keep the hall tickets safe after writing the exam as the hall tickets need to be re-produced if the candidate gets qualified for the exam.

KTET result 2023

KTET results will be published on the official website and the candidates shall enter their Application number and Date of Birth to access the results.
