This blog is based on a write up of Competitive Cracker’s one of the personal favorite students Mrs. Leena. Do you know why she is considered as one of the gems in CC online PSC classes? You will get an answer for it if you read the whole article…

Leena is sharing the story of a teacher who liberated her from the thought of suicide by providing a huge opportunity for her family. A long-term goal of attaining a government job eventually happened only because of her guru Mrs. Asha Bineesh and her husband Mr. Bineesh, says Leena.

Leena’s words about Competitive Cracker

“My name is Leena. I’m a native of a place called Parippally, in Kollam district. I’m writing this from my heart for a person whom I will never forget till my death. Along with my mother’s memories I’ll always keep that one person close to my heart, her name is Asha Bineesh. She is the CEO and founder of an online PSC coaching institute. Not only me, but also thousands of students are depending on this one person who is providing a 24/7 service and motivation classes for her students, neglecting her sleep and food.

I joined a PSC online coaching center just after the release of PSC LPSA notification but I could only attend a single class because I woke up the next day hearing Covid outbreak in Trissur, Kerala. Within a short period, government of India ordered Lockdown which in a way locked our family too. My husband had to take Mudra Loan for our new press and we started building our new house. The sudden lockdown shattered our dreams. The press was closed for the next six months. During the days without any lockdown, we opened the press but that didn’t make any difference in the situation. We took our first moratorium. Everything delayed including our Bank payment. We had no idea how to survive and we didn’t have a penny left. We struggled a lot to make ends meet.

After a long gap, many of the online coaching centers restarted their classes. Because I didn’t have enough money to pay the fee, I thought of studying myself. But, the subjects like LPSA Psychology were very difficult to digest. After an 8 years gap, I was going to face a PSC exam and I was really tensed regarding my results. Anyway, I tried my best. Those times were really hard and we understood the value of food during those times. Eventually, we thought of starting a small hotel on the roadside at Parippally. We got the money to start our business from a known person. We were not in a situation to give salary to another person, so everything was done by us. We heard lot of hurting comments from the society. Many of them said, “You are an educated woman, and you are now washing the vessels of the strangers instead of choosing some other work”. We continued our daily chores without caring what others say about us. I studied in between the break time. Sleep was very less. I really wished for a support from a mentor to follow a systematic learning.

I was not able to follow the whole syllabus. There was no profit from our food business. At the end, when our problems hiked, my husband said, “Let’s die together. We don’t have any other options to live. I’ll not go alone. We will go together”. I panicked for a moment. I knew that I’ll not get a job so easily. But I convinced him that I’ll get a job and I reminded it always. At that time, after my UPSA exam, one of my friends told me about Competitive Cracker. I saw some of their YouTube classes and it was really nice. I wished to somehow join their LPSA online course. I called them and chose the LPSA capsule course (Two weeks course) for an affordable rate. I attended a google meet class from 5.45 to 7.15. Followed by it, a live session at 12 PM and an evening class. I made sure to not skip any of the classes. Whenever I felt myself down, I watched the motivation classes of Asha Ma’am.

Finally, my LPSA exam ended well. I was pretty sure that I’ll be there in the PSC main list. One day, I happened to see a message in Kerala PSC profile asking for certificate verification. I confirmed that I’m in the list. I couldn’t express my happiness at that time. After calling my mother, I shared my happiness with Asha ma’am. When she heard the happy news, she herself compelled me to join the LPSA interview course. She said,” You don’t need to pay any fee, if you want you can do it after getting a government job”. She added me too into their Interview batch. From that moment, I was in a hurry to reach my goal. I tried my best to prepare for the interview.

On the day of Interview, Asha Madam called me and conveyed her best wishes and prayers for my interview. I attended the interview so well. Later on, CC started offering me PSC courses for free. Because, Asha madam was much happier than me. This was not the end. She started sending me money to write the exams and new clothes too. Finally, the most awaited day arrived, I got 96th rank for the LPSA exam (Category 516/2019). When I called her and shared the news her voice was breaking up with happiness. When I was invited to a rank holder’s meet up, she gave the money for me. When she presented me memento, I didn’t know how to express my happiness. I am thankful to God for giving me such a smiling and positive mentor in my life.

Whenever I ask myself, “what I want to become or who I want to become”? I have only one answer, I want to be like Asha Madam. She was the only one who distracted us from the thought of committing suicide, she was the only one who removed the veil of darkness from our life. I remember her on every morning and I have kept a photo of Asha Madam and her husband Bineesh sir on our bedroom wall. We wake up seeing the picture of them every morning. I have no words. I dedicate this write up for my teacher. I feel indeed proud to be a good teacher”.
