Ans: The applicants should attain at least 55% for General category as well as General-EWS category and 50% for OBC/ SC/ ST/ PwD/Third Gender categories.
3. What is the upper age limit for JRF?
Ans: The upper age limit for Junior Research Fellow is 28 years as on 1st July 2022, however the upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC/ ST/ Third gender/ PwD/ Female applicants. That means the upper age limit for female candidates is 33 years.
4. Is there any age restriction imposed for Lectureship (LS) or Assistant Professorship?
Ans: The Lectureship or Assistant professorship can be attempted by candidates irrespective of the age provided they satisfy the minimum age required for writing the exam.
