LGS Exam-169th Rank -Shijil Bhaskar

Shijil's journey towards PSC was truly unexpected and this happened only because of his aunt.He is just 22 years old and he got a government job in such a younger age which is definitely praiseworthy.

Shijil said, “I’ve got 169th rank for the last LGS exam. I’m extremely happy to stand on this stage. I’ve never expected this moment. I came to see Kerala PSC LGS notification when I was pursuing my degree. I applied for the same. It was the time when Corona effect came on people and I never had a thought of PSC preparation in my mind. At that time, my aunt asked me to join her to study for PSC exam. At first, I was not that interested, later I agreed and joined the team (there were few more children for the combine study). After some time, my aunt lost her interest in the studies, but I didn’t stop. I bought some of the PSC related study materials and joined Competitive Cracker, because I got the money to pay the fees from my uncle. My aunt was also a student of CC, so she always used to watch the final touch videos of CC on the way to the exam centers. I was more of a social person and after joining CC I got a time table and I thought of spending more time for studies. I’m very much connected to the faculty team in CC. I personally know Sreekala madam and Vishnu sir. When I saw my name in the LGS results, I called my father at first,secondly I thought of calling Vishnu sir because I was more connected to him in CC family. He was more excited than my father after hearing the good news (The whole stage laughed by hearing the comment). I have listened to many other emotional success stories. I have no such big stories to say. I’m just a 22-year-old man. I’ve just laid my first step towards my career. I’ve got 169th rank only because of CC. I have attended a final marathon session just before the LGS exam. It was a long 3-hour session and I watched it completely before entering into the exam hall. You will not believe!! When I opened the question paper, I saw the same questions. If I hadn’t attended that session by CC, I would have definitely lost about 5-6 marks. I can’t say enough thanks. Ill never forget all these moments. Today, I’m fortunate to stand on this stage as one of the achievers. I once again say thank you to the whole team.
