KTET Result 2023 Over View

An average of 25% of the total applicants have managed to qualify the KTET exams as per the statistics. The highest pass percentage of about 35% was recorded for Category-2 whereas a lowest of 17% pass was recorded for Category-4. The pass percentage is accounted as the number of students passed to the total number of applicants or candidates appeared. A total of 125K applications were received for the recent KTET exams out of which 30K+ candidates got qualified.

a) KTET 2022 Exam Analysis

The Category-1 English was easy to moderate and Psychology part had direct questions concentrated on the Theory and Pedagogy part was more or less easy. The Environmental Science paper concentrated on some facts in Social Science like Quit India day, year in which Kerala Panchayathi Raj law was passed which made it a little tougher than other papers. Mathematics paper muddled the candidates a bit, due to some unexpected questions and shortage of time. The Malayalam paper was tough on the passage side with in-depth questions, however the Pedagogy part was easier.

The K2 paper psychology was relatively easier than the K1 psychology paper. Social Science was easy to moderate. Science was also easy to moderate in level. However, applicants found it little tougher than the Psychology paper. The Mathematics paper posed to be a little tougher due to lack of time management. Malayalam paper was also easy to moderate which was included in part-II as well as part-III for a total of 60 marks. b) KTET 2022 Qualifying Mark

The qualifying marks for KTET varies each year depending upon the difficulty level of the paper, number of applicants, scores obtained by the candidates but the Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan always keep a qualifying slab of more than 50%. Since, this is a qualifying exam and doesn’t guarantee any job in the Public Service, the qualifying marks is not decided upon the basis of the vacancy.

The cut-off mark expected for 2023 KTET exam is 65%, whereas it was only 60% for the previous year. That is, as per the expected cut-off for 2023, one should get 97.5 marks out of 150 to qualify the test. There are also category-wise cut-offs that differs by 5% to that of the general category.
