KTET eligibility criteria determine whether a candidate can apply for Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test under Category 1, 2, 3, or 4. The eligibility requirements vary according to the teaching level, academic qualifications, and teacher education credentials prescribed by Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan and applicable NCTE guidelines. Understanding the KTET qualification requirements before registration is essential because applying under wrong category may lead to application issues or affect future teaching recruitment opportunities.

This guide explains the category-wise KTET eligibility criteria, educational qualifications, and important conditions candidates should know before applying.
