KTET Certificate Verification 2022

What do you mean by the verification?
As per the rules given by Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan, the candidates with the necessary qualifications are only allowed to write KTET exam 2022. The candidates will be asked to visit the respected offices (not Pareeksha Bhavan) for the verification process. To check if you are eligible to apply for the next KTET exam, go through the following information.
KTET Qualification (Category 1)
Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary or (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and two-year Trained Teachers’ Certificate TTC / D.Ed. [by whatever name known] conducted by Board of Examination, Govt. of Kerala or its equivalent.
OR
Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations 2002.
OR
Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
OR
Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
Other Equivalent qualification.
KTET Qualification (Category 2)
B.A/B.Sc./B.Com. and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/Trained Teachers’ Certificate TTC / D.Ed. [by whatever name known] conducted by Board of Examination, Govt. of Kerala or its equivalent.
OR
B. A/B.Sc./B. Com with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with NCTE (Recognition, Norms and Procedure) regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
OR
Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year B. A/B.Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed or B.Sc. Ed.
OR
Other Equivalent qualification.
KTET Qualification (Category 3)
BA/BSc/B. Com with at least 45% marks and a B.Ed. Degree in the subject concerned (from any one of the Universities in Kerala or have acquired these qualifications from any other Universities recognized as equivalent thereto).
OR
For Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, those who have MSc. Ed. Degree in the subject concerned with not less than 50% marks from one of the Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by NCERT will be eligible to apply. For Botany and Zoology subjects, those with MSc. Ed. Degree in Life Science with not less than 50% marks from any of the Regional Institutes of Education are eligible to apply.
OR
BA or equivalent with at least 45% marks and who passed in LTTC are eligible to apply.
OR
Other Equivalent qualification.
KTET Qualification (Category 4)
Those who have acquired qualifications for the posts of Language Teachers of Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit & Urdu (up to Upper Primary level), Specialist teachers & Physical Education teachers as mentioned in Chapter XXXI of KERALA EDUCATION ACT AND RULES are eligible to apply for K-TET- IV
OR
Other Equivalent qualification.
Where are you supposed to visit?
Its not the Pareeksha Bhavan, but the respected DEO office where the candidates are supposed to visit on the dates given. DEO means District Education Officer.
Note: You have to visit the DEO which is in premises of your exam center. The place may not be remote to your resident location as many of the students choose the other districts in certain cases. For Example: if you are a resident of Kottayam, you have the provision to apply in Ernakulam or any other district. In such a case, you will have to visit the DEO of that particular district.
How to know the verification dates?
The dates of KTET Verification 2022 are usually updated via newspapers, social media etc. In addition, you can also follow our YouTube channel for the latest updates (Example: KTET verification date 2022 latest news).
What are you supposed to bring to the office?
- Copy of the Result
- KTET Admit Card 2022 with signature of the invigilator in the hall ticket (Those who have not got the sign, contact the school where you attended the exam. Further proceedings will be done by the concerned authorities.
- Original Certificates (SSLC, Plus Two, Degree, B.Ed./ D.El.Ed./D.Ed. and the consolidated of the degree certificate to calculate the percentage of marks.
- Those who have not got the certificates can submit the “Provisional Certificate” if it is valid. (Validity of a provisional certificate is only for six months).
- In addition, you should also bring the self-attested photo copies of the above certificates.
Follow the above guidelines to avoid the last-minute confusion. The dates of each district may vary and four dates will be given for all the four categories.
