KTET Category 3-Arabic Eligibility Criteria | Syllabus|

KTET stands for Kerala Teacher's Eligibility Test and it is a qualifying exam conducted by Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan two times in a year for every teaching professionals. The major advantage of this exam is its age limit. There is no age limit to write this particular exam. • KTET Category 3 exam is conducted for those who wish to achieve the post of a High School Assistant in Malayalam, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Kannada, Arabic, Urdu, Social Science, Physical Science, Natural Science, Mathematics etc.
• The minimum eligibility criteria needed for the candidates coming under KTET Category 3 is given below:
• Candidates with at least 45% marks in B A/ BSc. / B. Com along with B.Ed. in the concerned subject are eligible to apply for this post.
• Note: The candidates should have completed the degree from any of the university in Kerala or other universities which has all the affiliations from the concerned Universities in Kerala.
• Those who have degrees in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology etc. (with an MSc. Ed degree not less than 50%), they can apply for Category 3.
• B A Degree with at least 45% marks or those who have passed KTET category 3 exam can apply for this exam.
• Note: Degree/ Diploma graduates who have completed their studies from Kerala Government/ NCTE/ other affiliated universities can also apply for this category. The applicants under this category should submit the equivalency certificate/ eligibility certificate from the concerned Universities.
• The candidates who are enrolling for the 3^rd and 4^th semesters of courses like B.Ed./D.Ed./D.El.Ed. Ed and the related courses can apply for KTET exams.
• The question paper consists of 150 questions where each question carries one mark.
• Age Limit: There is no age Limit for writing a KTET exam.

• General- 60% (90 Marks)
• SC/ST/OBC/OEC – 55 % (82 Marks)
• P H- 50 % (75 Marks)

Schedule of the exam

KTET February 2022- exam date, time, and other informative details will be informed by the Pareeksha bhavan Secretary through media. The details given in the prospectus can be changed in the future. Such changes will be informed through Pareeksha bhavan official website.

The medium of instruction

KTET Category 1, 2, and 4 will be asked in two languages (Both English and Malayalam), while the other exam has only one medium of instruction i.e., English. (Except Languages).

Exam Centres

The Exam Secretary has all the rights to decide on the KTET exam centres in Kerala. The applicant has the option to choose his/her examination centre during the time of KTET online application. It will be further informed through KTET hall ticket.
