KTET Category 3 Hindi Eligibility Criteria

Kerala TET Exam is an eligibility test conducted twice in a year for those who have an ambition to teach in government schools. Kerala PSC has now made KTET exam a mandatory qualification for writing further exams like HSST, HSA, LPSA, UPSA etc. KTET has generally four categories, for teaching in LP, UP, High School and the last one is particularly for Languages.

• The minimum eligibility criteria needed for the candidates coming under KTET Category 3 is given below:
• Candidates with at least 45% marks in B A/ BSc. / B. Com along with B.Ed. in the concerned subject are eligible to apply for this post.
• Note: The candidates should have completed the degree from any of the university in Kerala or other universities which has all the affiliations from the concerned Universities in Kerala.
• Those who have degrees in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology etc. (with an MSc. Ed degree not less than 50%), they can apply for Category 3.
• B A Degree with at least 45% marks or those who have passed KTET category 3 exam can apply for this exam.
• Note: Degree/ Diploma graduates who have completed their studies from Kerala Government/ NCTE/ other affiliated universities can also apply for this category. The applicants under this category should submit the equivalency certificate/ eligibility certificate from the concerned Universities.
• The candidates who are enrolling for the 3rd and 4th semesters of courses like B.Ed./D.Ed./D.El.Ed. Ed and the related courses can apply for KTET exams.
• The question paper consists of 150 questions where each question carries one mark.
• Age Limit: There is no age Limit for writing a KTET exam.
