The KTET Category 3 exams are notified along with all the other categories through the official website of Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan. The exam for category 3 will be conducted on 15^th May 2023 between 10:00 am and 12:30 pm.

The various qualification required to be a KTET category 3 teacher are as follows.

45% in BA/ B. Com/ B.Sc. and B.Ed. in that corresponding subject (From Universities of Kerala or Universities approved by the Government of Kerala)

M.Sc. qualification and B.Ed. degree admission obtained on the basis of M.Sc. marks.

50% marks in M.Sc. (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology) with M.Sc. Ed degree approved by NCERT/ 50% marks in M.Sc. (Zoology, Botany) with M.Sc. Ed. degree in Life Sciences from RIE (regional Institute of Education).

45% in BA or equivalent with qualification in LTTC/ D. El. Ed.

KTET Category 3 Exam 2023 Admit Card Date

The admit cards for the KTET category 3 exam will be released by 25^th April 2023 on the official website. The applicants can download the admit card from the official website. In order to download the Hall-ticket the candidates should have their application number and application ID. So, after the initial registration process candidates are advised to take note of the Application number and ID.

The above table is indicative of the pattern for KTET category 3 exam. The maximum mark for the exam is 150, where general category candidates have to secure 90 marks and other reserved category candidates have to secure 82 and 75 for PwBD candidates. All the questions will be of Multiple-choice type and each correct answer can gain you “1” mark. There will be no negative marks for KTET exams. Subsequently, candidates who have successfully qualified for any of the categories in KTET will not be allowed to re-attempt the same category for score revision.
