All the freshers in the field of competitive exams might have lot of worries and queries based on the exam’s conducting body, the mode of exam, the total marks, the phases of exam etc. Here, we are including some of the Kerala PSC frequently asked questions to clarify your doubts.
- What are the types of questions asked for a PSC exam?
Earlier, there was only one stage of exam followed by an interview, while for the last few years, the commission has made a slight change by conducting two exams (Prelims and mains). The mode of questions is objective (OMR) and the total marks for both the exams is 200.
- Is clearing Prelims a difficult step?
The difficulty of an exam is different for each person, considering their level of preparation. So, we can’t completely agree it as a difficult task. If we study hard for it, we can easily crack the preliminary stage.
- How many hours should I study for a PSC exam?
Some of the online PSC coaching institutes always repeats 8- 10 hours as the best study hours. But it totally depends on the learner. If he/she is an easy learner, 3- 4 hours are more than enough (Note: those time should be seriously utilised for studies).
