Kerala PSC Legal Metrology Inspector Eligibility

The Kerala PSC Legal Metrology Qualification and eligibility are given here to recheck the requisite conditions. The Kerala PSC Legal Metrology Inspector age limit stipulated by the commission is that the candidates must have a lower age limit of 18 years and an upper age limit of 36 years. That is candidates born between 02/01/1986 and 01/01/2004 are eligible to apply. There is also a provision for age relaxation for other reserved categories provided it wouldn’t exceed an upper age limit of 50 years.

The Kerala PSC Legal Metrology Inspector qualification is specified as follows.

1. Candidates should obtain graduation in Science with Physics as one of the subjects that are recognized by any of the Universities of Kerala

OR

B Tech Degree awarded or recognized by any of the Universities of Kerala

OR

Diploma in Engineering after undergoing a regular course for 3 years of professional experience in any of the central or state government services or in any public undertaking or registered private sector undertaking after obtaining the basic qualification as mandated for the post.

Note: Experience in Legal Metrology Department shall be added or considered equivalent to professional experience.

2. The candidates should be proficient in speaking, writing, and reading Malayalam as the job requires area-specific work assays and inspection.
