The Kerala Prelims Results 2023 was released on 21^st July 2023 on the official website of the Kerala Public Service Commission at https://www.keralapsc.gov.in/. Candidates who have managed to get into the shortlists must reckon with a steadfast preparation strategy to excel in the mains exam as the competition might move on to a stiffer side. As the exams are planned for the first week of August, candidates should be in their final set of revisions as of now. And candidates who haven’t started their preparations yet need not worry as they have more than 15 days before the Mains level exam.

1. Category No. 321/2022- Field Officer

The Field Officer post in Kerala Forest Development Corporation Limited was gazetted on 16^th August 2022 via the official website. The total number of vacancies notified then was just three and the aspirants can expect a surge in due course of the recruitment.

The Age limit for this recruitment was 18 – 36 years with an essential qualification as listed below.

• Science Degree or equivalent from a UGC recognized University or National Institutes established by Central Government / Institutions established by State Government.

• Physical Qualifications

(a) Height – 167 cm

(b) Chest – 81 cm with a minimum expansion of 5 cm.

• Candidates should have a good physique. They must be free from apparent physical defects like knock knee, flat foot, varicose veins, bow legs, deformed limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, and defective speech and hearing.

• Physical Efficiency Test. Must qualify in any 5 events out of the 8 items specified among the National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard test.

2. Category No. 486/2022- Assistant in Universities

Assistant posts in the Universities of Kerala are a post notified on 30^th November 2023. The vacancies gazetted are anticipated ones and candidates can expect a surge in the due course.

The Age limit for the post was 18-36 years and the required qualification is a degree in any faculty from a recognised University or its equivalent.

3. Category No. 669/2022 – 671/2022: Sub Inspector of Police (Trainee)

Sub Inspector of Police (Kerala Civil Police) posts widely notified statewide on 31^st December 2022 for Open Market was held in the month of May 2023.

The Age limit for various categories within the recruitment are as follows,

Category – I (Open Market): Only candidates born between 02.01.1991 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included).

Category – ii (Ministerial) – Should not have completed 36 years of age as of 01.01.2022.

Category – iii (Constabulary) – Should not have completed 36 years of age as of 01.01.2022.

Physical Qualification as stipulated by the minimum physical standards shall be followed.

The basic educational qualification required is graduation in any discipline recognized by the University of Kerala or recognized as equivalent.

4. Category No. 672/2022 – 673/2022 - Armed Police Sub Inspector (Trainee)

Sub Inspector of Police (Armed Police Battalion) posts notified on 31^st December 2022 have been gazetted for the anticipated number of vacancies.

The age limit for this post is similar to the age limit for category No. 669/2022 – 671/2022: Sub Inspector of Police (Trainee) and the essential qualification is a degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
