Kerala PSC BDO Notification 2023
Kerala PSC BDO notification 2023 is not yet released as of now. Block Development Officer/ Grama panchayat Secretary/ Municipal Secretary / Block Panchayat Secretary posts in concerned departments haven’t undergone any mass recruitment for a long time now. The Grama Panchayat Secretary exam was conducted in the year 2007 and the results were published in 2010, wherein a total of 229 candidates were appointed under this gazette. Similarly, the Municipal Secretary exam was held in 2009 and the results released in 2012 with a total of 52 candidates being advised for the post. On a same note, the Block Panchayat Secretary gazetted in 2014, released its results in 2017 recruiting a total of 80 candidates. So, you might be wondering why these posts have been not notified by the Kerala PSC for more than a decade. This is because the government in 2008, decided to integrate departments like Panchayat, Urban Affairs, Municipal common service, rural development, town planning and LSG Engineering service into a common service known as Local Self Government Institutes (LSGI). And this has been established as a rule on 27th October 2022.
