KDRB Recruitment 2022: Check eligibility, salary & vacancies

Kerala Devaswom Recruitment Board has invited applications for twelve various posts in Travancore/Guruvayoor Devaswom Boards. Devaswom related exams are held by KDRB and many of the competitive exam aspirants are unaware of it. Many of them have a misunderstanding that Public Service Commission is the conducting agency of this exam. But it is not. The syllabus, exam pattern, mode of applying etc. is completely different from that of Kerala PSC. If we make a distinction between the two conducting bodies, KDRB exam application fee is there, while the KPSC doesn’t charge any fee during the online application process. The date of the official announcement of the KDRB notification was on12th October, 2022 and the last date to apply for the exams is 14th November, 2022.

Draughtsman Gr. I (Civil) (Guruvayoor Devaswom)

The category number of this exam is 14/2022. The KDRB salary for this post starts from Rs.37400-79000, where the number of anticipated vacancies is 2. The candidate should have a Diploma in Civil Engineering approved by Government of Kerala or its equivalent qualification.

Draughtsman Gr. II (Civil) (Guruvayoor Devaswom)

The category number of this exam is 15/2022. The KDRB salary for this post starts from Rs. 31100-66800, where the number of anticipated vacancies is 2. The candidate should have a Diploma in Civil Engineering approved by Government of Kerala or its equivalent qualification.

Lab Technician (Guruvayoor Devaswom)

The category Number of this exam is 16/2022. The KDRB salary for this post starts from 31100-66800, where the number of anticipated vacancy is 1. The candidate should have passed Pre-degree with Physics, Chemistry, Biology as optional subjects with 50% of marks or its equivalent qualification, or a diploma in MLT Course for two years awarded by the Directorate of Medical Education (Government of Kerala) or its equivalent qualification, or Registration with paramedical council.

Nursing Assistant (Male)-Guruvayoor Devaswom

The category number of this exam is 17/2022. The KDRB salary for this post starts from Rs. 23700 to 52600, where the number of anticipated vacancies is 3. The candidate should have passed 7th or its equivalent or should have two years of experience as Nursing Assistant from a Government /Semi-Government or Private institutions with at least 50 beds.

Nursing Assistant (Female)-Guruvayoor Devaswom

The category number of this exam is 18/2022. The KDRB salary for this post starts from Rs.23700-52,600, where the number of anticipated vacancies is 2. The candidate should have passed 7th or its equivalent or should have two years of experience as Nursing Assistant from a Government /Semi-Government or Private institutions with at least 50 beds.

Mahout (Guruvayoor Devaswom)

Ashtapadi Singer (Temple)- Guruvayoor Devaswom

The category number of this exam is 20/2022 and the number of anticipated vacancies for this is only one. The qualifications are: (1) Ability to read and write Malayalam, (2) A certificate obtained after successfully completing study in the concerned art (Ashtapadi) from Guruvayoor Devaswom Vadya Vidyalaya or Kerala Kalamandalam or Kshetra Kalapeedam under Travancore Devaswom Board or from any other equivalent institutions or five-year experience certificate from renowned artists in the concerned field.

Nadaswaram Player (Temple) -Guruvayoor

The category number of this post is 21/2022 and the expected number of vacancies is only one. The basic qualifications include: (1) Ability to read and write Malayalam, (2) A certificate obtained after successfully completing study in the concerned art (Nadaswaram) from Guruvayoor Devaswom Vadya Vidyalaya or Kerala Kalamandalam or Kshetra Kalapeedam under Travancore Devaswom Board or from any other equivalent institutions or five year-experience certificate from renowned artists in the concerned field.

Maddalam Player (Temple)- Guruvayoor Devaswom

The category number of this exam is 22/2022 where the expected number of vacancies is only one. The candidate should have the qualifications listed below:

Ability to read and write Malayalam, A certificate obtained after successfully completing study in the concerned art (Maddalam) from Guruvayoor Devaswom Vadya Vidyalaya or Kerala Kalamandalam or Kshetra Kalapeedam under Travancore Devaswom Board or from any other equivalent institutions or five year- experience certificate from renowned artists in the concerned field.

Part-Time Sweeper (Guruvayoor Devaswom)

The category number of this exam is 23/2022, and the number of anticipated vacancies is 3. The candidate should have passed 7th standard or should possess an equivalent qualification.

Watcher (Travancore Devaswom Board)

The category number of this exam is 24/2022, and the number of vacancies is more than the expected numbers i.e., 50. This is just an anticipated number, it can vary at any time. The qualifications necessary to apply for this post include:

1. Pass in SSLC or its equivalent qualification, (2) Computer knowledge desirable, (3) Physical efficiency. Certificate obtained from a medical officer not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon should be produced as and when directed by Kerala Devaswom Recruitment Board.
2. Note: - Women and Differently abled candidates are not eligible to apply.
