IBPS Recruitment 2022: Bank Exam Last Date to Apply, vacancies etc.

The term IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. IBPS is inviting applications for the post of Specialist Officer and the selection will be done for different public sector banks all across India. This is the twelfth time, the concerned authorities conducting bank exam for all the candidates who are aiming to attain a job in the public sector banks.

About the Exam and its Selection Process

There are three basic steps, (1) A Written Exam, (2) An Interview, and (3) a Provisional Allotment. This is the major tiers that the candidates are going to face in the Common Recruitment Process. After qualifying the primary step, the candidates will be called for an interview. The candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in both the tiers.

• IT Officer (Scale 1)

B. Tech in Computer Science/Computer Applications/Electronics and Telecommunications/Electronics and Instrumentation OR Masters in Electronics/ Electronics and Telecommunications/ Electronics and communication/ Electronics and Instrumentation/Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ IT OR Degree along with DOEACC B level grade.

• Agricultural Field Officer Field 1
• Four Year Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ Dairy Science/ Fishery Science/ Pisciculture/Agri marketing and Cooperation/Cooperation and Banking/Forestry/Agricultural Engineering/ Sericulture.
• Raj Bhasha Adhikari (Scale 1)

The candidate should have taken a degree in English with Masters in Hindi or UG in English & Hindi and Masters in Sanskrit.

• Law Officer (Scale 1)

The candidate should have a degree in Law (LLB) and also should have the experience as a Bar Council Advocate.

• HR/ Personnel Officer (Scale 1)

A Degree in the same or PG in Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations/ HR/ HRD/ Social Work/ Labor Law (Two Years full time PG/ PG Diploma).

• Marketing Officer (Scale 1)

Degree along with Two Years Full Time MMS (Marketing)/ MBA (Marketing)/ PGDBA/ PGDBM/PGPM/PGDM.

Important Guidelines

The candidates should apply to any among the posts given in the list. The applicants should be knowledgeable in Computer. The posts other than IT officer, require the certificates including Computer Operations/ Language Certificate/ Diploma/Degree in the same or should have studied IT in High School/ College. The candidates should be in between 20 and 30 (Exceptions and relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/Differently Abled candidates). The application fee is 850 for general candidates and 175 for SC/ST/ Differently Abled. The fee payment can be done through IBPS official website. In the online application, there should be the candidates scanned colour passport size photo and signature (in a digital format). The total number of anticipated vacancies is 710 and the last date to apply for this exam is up to November 21, 2022.
