IBPS PO notification 2023

IBPS or Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is a central recruitment agency under the flagship of the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. This was initiated with the aim to actively recruit graduates, post-graduates, and doctorates in group A, B, C, and D officers in various Urban as well as Regional Rural Nationalized Banks all over India.

IBPS PO Notification 2023 released recently on 1st of August 2023 to actively recruit graduates in the role of Probationary Officers across the various Nationalized Banks as listed below.

IBPS PO notification 2023 Apply online

The IBPS PO post can be applied only through the online mode. Applicants can navigate through the following steps to make your application process hassle free.

  • Now, click on to the link labelled Apply online for Common recruitment process under CRP-PO/MT-XIII.

  • The page leads to a new registration profile and a login profile for already registered candidates.
  • For a new user, click on to the “Click here for New Registration” prompt.

  • The new registration page opens up, where the applicants are requested to fill in the basic details as shown above.
  • After filling the basic details, the candidates shall take note to save each section.
  • Next, section prompts to upload the photograph and signature.
  • Photographs should bear a maximum size of 4.5 cm X 3.5 cm in passport style, preferably within dimension 200 X 230 pixels and file size between 20kb to 50kb.
  • Signature must be done with a black ink pen on a white paper within the dimension of 140 X 60 pixels and file size between 20kb to 50kb.
  • Now, the next section will ask you to enter prescribed qualification details and experience if any.
  • Now navigate to the Preview page to check for any last-minute correction.
  • After initiating any necessary corrections, now move on to the uploads page to upload the left-hand thumb impression (can be done using black or blue ink on white paper, its dimension should be 240 x 240 pixels with size between 10kb to 20kb and the hand-written declaration (should be legibly written on a white paper with black ink, its dimension should be 800 x 400 pixels and file size should be between 50kb to 100 kb).
  • Now, after saving the file upload section, the applicant can now proceed to the payments section and exercise the various payment options available like UPI, internet banking, credit/ debit card facilities available with the portal.

Application Fees

The Application fees payable will be Rs 850/- for General candidates and Rs 175/- for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

There will be a penalty for wrong answers which is applicable to both preliminary and mains examination. For each question, whereby a wrong answer recorded by the candidate can attract a negative score of 0.25 marks. Further, candidates will be scrutinized on the basis of the cut-off score as designated by the examination body to shortlist the candidates for interview.

IBPS PO notification 2023 Age limit

IBPS PO age limit as notified is a minimum of 20 years of age and a maximum of 30 years of age. However, permissible age relaxations for various categories are tabulated below.

The IBPS PO notification 2023 can be easily downloaded from the official website and the notification will be entitled as the Common recruitment process for recruitment of probationary officers/ management trainees for the vacancies for 2024-2025. Any eligible candidates who wish to serve as Probationary Officers or Management Trainees can apply for this recruitment process (CRP-PO/MT-XIII). And the candidates will be filled according to the business needs of the pertaining banks for the financial year 2024-2025.

CIBIL Score

The candidates applying for the post should also see to the fact that they maintain a healthy CIBIL score of 650 or above at the time of joining. And candidates without a Bank Account need not produce a CIBIL score status and it is not a pre-condition to apply for the exam.
