IBPS Clerk Eligibility

Candidates applying for IBPS CRP-XIII exam should primarily be a citizen of India or subject of Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet or other regions who fulfill the minimum years of residence as stipulated by the Government of India. The minimum age as on when candidates can attempt this exam is by 20 years of age and the maximum age till which the exam can be attempted is 28 years of age. However permissible age relaxations are available for all reserved categories.

IBPS Clerk Educational Qualification

A degree or graduation in any stream or discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central government is the requisite basic qualification to appear for the exam. Yet another important qualification that the candidates must possess is Computer Literacy i.e., Operating and Working Knowledge in computer systems and a certificate substantiating the same should be produced at the time of verification. Candidates can also produce diploma, degree or semester certificates to prove your level of competence in Computer language/ program.

Proficiency in the official language of the state or UT in which the candidate wishes to serve is also an important factor as the candidate will be tested on the grounds like ability to read, write or speak.

The application fees or intimation charges are payable through online mode. And the exam fees for various categories are tabulated below.

IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern

The IBPS Clerk exam will be conducted in the online mode. The exam will be conducted as a preliminary stage and a mains exam, followed by language test or interview. The pattern for the Preliminary exam is given below for reference.

Candidates have to qualify in each of the three sessions separately to qualify for the entire test. Nevertheless, the candidates should acquire a minimum cut-off score for each session.

Any change in the structure of the examination will be intimated through the official websites and the candidates should check the website frequently for any updates.

IBPS Clerk Application Process

Candidates can apply through the official website of IBPS from July 1st 2023 to 21st July 2023. The aspirants should also keep aside necessary documents as listed below before commencing the online application.

  • Documents required for scanning (Photograph (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm), signature, left thumb impression and a hand written declaration.

Steps to apply

  • Go to the official website @ www.ibps.in and click on to the scroll matter on top or on the right-side labelled CRP Clerk-XIII
  • After navigating to a new page, proceed with new candidate registration by clicking on to “Click here for new registration” link.
  • Enter all the required details upon registration.
  • After registration, a provisional registration number and password will be generated.
  • This will also be intimated to the candidates via SMS and email.
  • Candidates can then upload the photograph, signature, left thumb impression and hand-written declaration.
  • Candidates shall be advised to carefully fill the online application form that after final submission, no more changes will be permitted.
  • Prior to the final submission candidates can use ‘SAVE AND NEXT’ facility to verify the details in each stage.
  • No change is permitted after clicking “COMPLETE REGISTARTION” button.

The application fees can be processed in the online mode using debit cards, credit cards, internet banking, IMPS, cash cards, UPI and mobile wallet.
