1. Introduction

CSIR NET 2023 exam is a National level exam designated to determine the essential qualification to be an Assistant professor or a Doctoral Fellow in various leading universities. IITs, Research establishments of the Government. The exam will be constituting its December 2022 -June 2023 merged session in the first week of June 2023.

I. CSIR NET 2023: A Brief Overview

The program largely aims at improving the human resources in Science and Technology department. The joint CSIR-UGC NET program considers for two categories viz., Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor. The exam will be notified usually twice a year. However, after the pandemic, the whole exam cycle was distorted and now the December session and June session are usually merged. The selected Junior Research Fellowship awardee will be given Rs 31,000 per month for first two years and 35,000 per month for 3^rd year to the subsequent years. In addition to this, an annual contingent grant of Rs 20,000 will also be provided.

I. CSIR NET 2023: Online Application Date

The CSIR NET 2023 exam was notified on 10^th March 2023 via the official website of National Testing Agency (NTA). The online application can be submitted through the official website from 10^th March 2023 to 10^th April 2023.

II. CSIR NET Exam 2023 Last Date to Apply

The last date to apply is on 10^th April 2023 till 05:00 pm. So, applicants should apply beforehand to avoid last minute mishap from technical glitch or website traffic.

III. CSIR 2023 Admit Card Release Date

The admit card release date will be intimated soon. The candidates can download the admit cards from the official website as and when intimated. However, for the ease of the applicants, we have provided few steps below to follow.

There, the link for downloading the admit card will be given.
Click the link and you will be prompted to enter your application number and Date of Birth to proceed further.

IV. CSIR NET 2023 Exam Date

The exam is proposed to happen on 6^th, 7^th and 8^th June this year. The exams for the five subjects will be scheduled in series and the detailed intimation regarding the schedule will be notified soon.

V. CSIR UGC NET 2023 Result Date

The CSIR UGC NET exam results will be published after 15 days from the date of the examination. The mode of exam is Computer Based Test (CBT).
