Overview

UGC NET result 2024 is out for the June edition of the exam. The candidates all over India were waiting for the result. Due to the technical issues as stated by NTA and UGC the June NET 2024 was cancelled. The retest was conducted in August 2024 and 6.84 Lakhs students participated in this National Eligibility Test across India in various subjects. Check the cut-off marks, score-card and results now.

UGC NET Result 2024 June was published on 17^th October, 2024. The result was published online and candidates can check their results and score card through the official website of UGC NTA NET June 2024. UGC has also published the detailed cut-off marks. The UGC NTA NET cut off marks are different on the basis of subject, category and level of passing. The level of passing is divided into three categories; JRF, Assistant Professor and PhD only.

Score Card

The score for the UGC NTA NET June 2024 is available in the official website. Login to the portal using Application Number and date of birth. Download the score card. The NET score card consists of two sections. The upper section, features the basic details about the candidate and the respective NET exam the candidate has appeared. The lower section features the details of the result. Here you will be able find the combined marks scored for Paper I and Paper II and the percentile you have scored. Also, the level qualified by the candidates is clearly mentioned in the “Result” section.

What is the Procedure after UGC NET?

Often there are no further procedure students need to complete after UGC NET results. As a next step UGC will grand the respective E-certificate for the winners through official UGC NET online link. Usually the link on the site will be activated by 15 days after the publication of the result.

Candidates need not submit any certificate after the result publication. The relevant certificates of community and other reservations and relaxations are uploaded during the time of application.

Candidates who are post-graduation students while clearing the UGC NTA NET should clear the post-graduation with minimum marks of 55% for unreserved and 50% for OBC/SC/ST and other reserved categories candidates. Also, the course must be completed within two years of NET result declaration.

The next edition of UGC NTA NET exam is expected to commence in December 2024. The notification and portal to apply are expected to be launched soon.
