Kerala SET exam 2024 was conducted by the LBS Centre for Science and Technology on 28 July, 2024. Thousands of applicants across Kerala appeared in this certifying examination. Candidates who clear the examination receives the certification which qualifies them to become a Higher Secondary School Teacher. With PSC HSST exams are coming, all aspirants must have cleared the LBS SET Exam. The certification is crucial in fulfilling the eligibility criteria for PSC HSST examinations.
How to Challenge LBS SET Answer Key?

All candidates have the right to challenge the answer key published by LBS following the Kerala SET examination 2024. For this, candidates must cross check all the official question and answer of general paper and the respective subject paper. In the event if you find a wrong answer in the official answer key, candidates can raise the issue in the form of complaint to the LBS Centre for Science and Technology.

The complaint must be sent to the official address through post. The post must contain all the relevant documents. Please note that candidates can only challenge the questions of the present SET exam and challenge must be made within five days after the release of answer key.

1. Filled official form for LBS SET answer key challenge.

Candidates must download the official form from LBS SET 2024 website. Fill all the details asked in the form. Candidates can challenge any number of questions. For each question candidates must pay the officially prescribed fee. Details should be filled in all the three tables of the form are

1. Mention if the challenged question is from Paper I or II.
2. Question booklet number is a five-digit serial number printed at the top left of the Kerala SET question paper.
3. The version of the question is a single alphabet “A’’ or “B”.
4. Mention the question number that is to be challenged
5. Mention the code of answer (A, B, C, or D) as per the LBS 2024 answer key, “Published” coloumn. And mark your answer under the “Challenge” coloumn.
6. Write down the reason for challenging in the last coloumn of this table.

1. Write down the total number of questions you have challenged. This is the total number of questions in Table 1.
2. After remitting the total fee for question paper challenging, mention the details of DD number and date.
3. Finally fill the “DD Amount” coloumn with the total amount paid through DD.

Fill the details required for the authorities to initiate refund process. The amount remitted for challenging will be refunded if the challenged answers are correct.

1. Fill in your roll number for LBS SET 2024.
2. Full name and address of the candidates with mobile number.
3. Provide the bank account details such as account number, bank name, branch name and IFS Code.
4. The candidate must sign the application and date on which the application is being posted.

2. Proof to Support Challenge

Along with the DD and official form candidates must furnish the proof for your challenge. Only the applications with proofs attached in it will be considered. Others will be rejected and amount paid for such applications will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Candidates can provide two types of proofs, either written or printed. The written proofs are accepted only for the questions involving numerical or equational problems. For such case candidates can write down the steps that lead to the right answer.

For all other questions in theories, general knowledge etc. candidates should attach the printed copies of the reference textbooks.

3. Application Fee

Application fee for challenging the answer key must be paid in the form of DD. For each question you challenge ₹ 300 must be paid. In case of multiple questions, a single DD for the total amount is required. Quoting the official notice “The DD should be drawn from any branch of a nationalised bank in favour of the Director, LBS Centre payable at Thiruvananthapuram.”

4. Time Limit for Application

Candidates who are challenging the answer key of LBS SET exam must complete it before the stipulated date. Usually the time limit is five days from the date of publication of the Kerala SET answer key.

You should write ‘SET July - 2024 Complaints regarding answer keys' above the envelope. Also, the candidates can submit the complaint through email to the id [email protected]. Even though the complaint is submitted online, the supporting documents should be sent through post.
