The Kerala PSC Tourism Chauffer notification 2023 was released in the year 2022 and the application window was active till the month of February 2023. Kerala PSC Tourism Chauffer Qualification

The Kerala PSC Chauffeur grade-II is a Driver post and requires some qualifications as specified below.

• Pass in S.S.L.C. or equivalent qualification.
• Must possess current Motor Driving Licence (Light duty vehicles) at least three years standing and a Drivers Badge.
• Proficiency in Driving light duty Vehicles to be proved through a Practical Test
• Medical Fitness

• Free from any infectious diseases

Candidates shall also note a few other eligibility conditions as detailed below.

• The Driver’s badge is a mandatory license proof that should be possessed by those who operate public transport vehicles such as transportation, taxis, autorickshaws, buses, etc.
• So, candidates with a Driver’s Badge are exempted from driving Light Motor Vehicles from 2018 onwards.
• Differently, abled candidates are not eligible to apply.
• Candidates shall also furnish accurate details regarding their driving license and driving experience as any discrepancies at a later stage can lead to cancellation of candidature.

Probation

The selected candidates shall be on probation for a total period of 2 years on duty.
