Kerala Police CPO, WCPO Exam 2024 Notification

Police Constable (Trainee) Armed Police Battalion PDF can be downloaded from PSC’s official site. PSC released Police Constable notification for CPO with Category Number 593/2023 and for Women Police Constable WCPO under category number 584/2023. The notification was published on 29^th December, 2024 and updated on site on 1^st January, 2024. Candidates who have already registered can apply through official site.

Civil Police Officer exam notification for men and women is published every year and the ranked list for the same is published only for one year. This is PSC’s one of the exams in which youngest candidates are competing due to the limit of age demanded by the post.

Candidates who are yet to register in PSC’s official site need to go through the instructions on creating a profile.

Kerala Police CPO, WCPO Exam 2024 Eligibility

Police Constable CPO (Trainee) (Armed Police Battalion) is called only for eligible male candidates. Notification clearly mentions that female candidates and differently abled candidates are not eligible to apply for the post. Anyway, female candidates are eligible to apply for Woman Police Constable WCPO (trainee) (woman police battalion) under category number 584/2023.

Also, candidates with the below listed conditions may not apply for the exam.

• Colour blindness, squint or any morbid conditions of the eye or lids of either eye.
• Knock-knee
• Flat foot
• Varicose vein
• Bow legs
• Deformed hands & limbs
• Irregular and protruding tooth
• Defective speech and hearing

Kerala Police CPO, WCPO Exam 2024 Age Limit

Only young male candidates are called under the category number 593/2023. Candidates aged between 18 – 26 can only apply for the post. To be specific candidates born between 2^nd January, 1997 and 1^st January, 2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply.

Maximum age for Other Backward Class candidates is relaxed up to 29 years and for SC/ST candidates up to 31 years. Candidates belonging to Ex-servicemen category is allowed an upper age limit up to 41 years.

Candidates applying for Kerala Police CPO Exam 2024 need a pass in Higher Secondary Education (Plus Two) or its equivalent.

Along with educational qualification candidates must be physically qualified to become Police Constable in Armed Police Battalion.

According to WCPO notification minimum height for General and OBC category candidates is 157cm. And for candidates belong to SC/ST community 150cm

Along with this the candidates’ vision must be certified as perfect. For distant vision 6/6 Snellen for both eyes is acceptable. For near vision 0.5/0.5 Snellen for both eyes is acceptable.

As in any other uniform posts Physical qualification is equally important to educational qualification. It takes more than general knowledge to become constable in armed police battalion. Candidates selected to this post should be able to with stand physical strain. Therefore, the candidates must be able to prove their physical efficiency through following tests.

Police Constable (trainee) Armed Police Battalion 2024 exam is included in the latest annual exam calendar for 2024 published by Kerala PSC. Kerala Police CPO, WCPO Exam 2024 Cut Off & Advice Status

Since PSC has decided to conduct the CPO and WCPO exams in May-June Exam cycle the cutoffs will be declared after that. Refer the below table to know about the previous cut-offs.
