Kerala Fire Force Driver Qualification

The Fireman Driver Qualifications are given below, aspiring candidates must note down these checklists before applying to such posts.

1. Must have passed Plus Two or its equivalent examination. Preferential: Diploma in Computer Application
2. Must possess a valid current Motor Driving License with an endorsement for driving a heavy goods vehicle or heavy passenger vehicle with a badge.
3. Physical Qualifications: The Candidates must be physically fit and should possess the following minimum physical standards as prescribed below.

5. Physical Efficiency Test: Candidates must qualify at least five items out of the 8 events given as standard test for National Physical Efficiency.

After completing such an efficiency test, a candidate finally selected for this post will undergo training for a period of 4 months in the State Fire Service Training School, and the candidates must pass the examination thereafter which will comprise of a written and practical test. Every person who gets appointed after the successful completion of the training process shall be under a period of probation for two years from the date of joining duty.

Candidates who themselves complete the probationary period shall undergo a bond, which ensures a minimum working agreement for a period of five years, failing which the candidate might be required to pay a sum of money as prescribed by the Government.
