KPSC Probation Officer Grade II Exam 2024 Last Date to Apply

Probation Officer Gr II Exam have an application window of one month. The last date to apply for the exam is on 31st January, 2024. Eligible candidates are advised to apply before the application window closes at mid night of the mentioned date.

KPSC Probation Officer Grade II Exam 2024 Qualification

Probation Officer Gr II 2024 (Social Justice) Exam Qualification is as listed below:

  • Degree in Sociology, Social Work or Social science from a recognized University

or

  • A Degree in any discipline from a recognised University + Diploma in Social work recognised by the Government of Kerala or from a recognized University.
  • Equivalent qualifications of MA (Sociology), MA (Social Science), MSW is also considered as equivalent qualifications for Probation Officer Gr II Exam.

Pay Scale for Probation Officer Gr II offers high amount range etween ₹ 43400-91200. Pay Scale for the same post in previous notification was Rs. 16180-29180.

KPSC Probation Officer Grade II Exam 2024 Exam Date

Probation officer Gr II in Social Justice Department is a degree level exam. Since the academic qualifications are very specific the exam doesn’t belong to the pool of Common Degree Preliminary Exam. Only one written exam will be there. The tentative exam dates will be in October – December Exam period. The exact date of exam will be decided later this year and will be intimated to candidates through confirmation messages.

KPSC Probation Officer Grade II Exam 2024 Age Limit

Kerala PSC Probation Officer Grade II exam age limit for General category candidates is 18-36. Only candidates born between 2nd January, 1987 and 1st January, 2005 are eligible to apply for the post (both dates included). Upper age limit for OBC candidates are relaxed up to 39 years and for SC/ST candidates up to 41 years.

Candidates appointed through the above-mentioned selection process will have a probation for continuous one year within continuous period of three years. Also, candidates will get a three-month training under Social Justice Department.
