PSC Lineman notification was released on 15^th December, 2023. The Notification PDF is available at PSC’s official site. Kerala PSC Lineman 2024 Exam Date

Lineman recruitment date is included in PSC April 2024 Exam Calendar. All candidates may note that the duration to give confirmation is 22^nd January, 2024 to 10^th February, 2024. Admission Ticket will be available in you PSC profile from 11^th April, 2024. Exam centres will be mentioned in the admission ticket. Candidates who had applied must give the confirmation to attend exam in their profiles. Only candidates who have given confirmation will receive admission tickets in their profiles.

Kerala PSC Lineman 2024 Qualifications

Lineman post belongs to technical category of PSC. Due to the nature of the qualification required for the post, PSC exams to the posts that are demanding same qualification will also be conducted along with Kerala PSC Lineman exam 2024. Only candidates with below qualifications are eligible.

• Minimum General Qualification of S.S.L.C standard.

And

• Certificate in Electrical Engineering after having undergone a course of study of not less than one year from an Institution recognized by Government

Or

• City and Guilds Examination in Electrical Engineering London Institute in A.C of the Intermediate Grade

Or

• M.G.T.E or K.G.T.E Certificate (Higher) in Electrical Light and Power.

Or

• Grade III Certificate as Electrician or Lineman from War Technical Training Centre.

The Certificate in Electrical Engineering, mentioned above, should be acquired from State Board of Technical Education or National Trade Certificate in Electrician from Industrial Training Institute. Also, any other certificate recognised as equivalent to the certificate of Electrical Engineering will also be considered.
