Kerala PSC LSGS 2024 Applicants Details

Public Service Commission has released the number of applicants to the post of LSGS. The exam called statewide is first of its kind. In previous years the posts of secretaries in Panchayath, Block Panchayath and Municipality were recruited separately. Different notifications and ranked list were released to above mentioned post. As per the latest data released by PSC a total of 4,78,878 candidates have applied for the exam.

Since the Paper I is included in the Degree preliminary exams the pattern and question paper will be same as of the common preliminary exam. Candidates who have applied for other degree level exams which are included in the Degree Common Preliminary Examination will be attending all exams

Kerala PSC LSGS 2024 Exam Date.

In its Annual Exam Calendar PSC has included the LSGS Exam in the degree preliminary exam 2024. As per the calendar the exam will be conducted April – May exam cycle 2024. The April exam calendar PSC has scheduled the Paper I exam of LSGI to be conducted in two stages. Stage I is scheduled on 13^th April, 2024 and Stage II is scheduled on 27^th April 2024. PSC will decide upon more stages, if necessary, depending on the number candidates giving confirmation.

Kerala PSC LSGS 2024 Confirmation

PSC LSGI Exam’s confirmation window has been opened. All candidates who have applied receive SMS to the mobile numbers registered in their PSC Profile. Once the message is received candidates should login into their Official PSC Profile. There in the home page, among some other tabs, you will be able to see the tab titled Confirmation for Exam along with a calendar icon. Click on the tab and you will see all the exams which are pending for your confirmation in there. Find category number 571/2023 against the post name Secretary Local Self Government Institutions.

If you have already given the confirmation the section will be in green font. Those who have not gave the confirmation click on the red button on the right side of post name. in the upcoming page choose the district and taluk for exam centre. Also, candidates have to choose the medium of question paper.

The confirmation window will be live only for a limited time period. Candidates should give the confirmation between 1^st February, 2024 and 30^th March, 2024.

Although the exam is included in degree common preliminary examination candidates will have to give confirmation to all applied posts individually. Otherwise, the candidates will not be considered as attended the particular exam which he/she haven’t given the confirmation.

Though PSC hasn’t officially announced the vacancies we are expecting a rather higher number can be expected. We know the posts being filled through Kerala PSC LSGI Exam 2024 was conducted separately in previous time. The number of vacancies can rise as this is first time a unified exam is being called. The combined exam is conducting for a total of 1180 we are expecting above 400 vacancies without adding the vacancies to BDO.
