KPSC LSGI Secretary (LSGS) Exam 2024 Qualification
LSGD Secretary post involves a degree level preliminary and mains exam to qualify. As per the notification released in official site candidates who are applying for PSC LSGS 2024 Exam must have a degree. Graduation from a recognized university, National institutes established by the Central Government or Institutions established by the Government of Kerala is sufficient.
KPSC LSGI Secretary (LSGS) Exam 2024 Age Limit
Candidates aged between 18 – 36 years are eligible for applying. The official notification by PSC clearly notifies those candidates born between 02/01/1987 and 01/01/2005 (both dates including) are the only ones eligible for applying.
KPSC LSGI Secretary (LSGS) Exam 2024 Age Relaxation
Candidates from SC/ST categories have age relaxation for upper age limit up to 5 years and candidates from Other Backward Communities have age relaxation for upper age limit. Candidates who are claiming this relaxation must present the relevant certificates during the time of certificate verification.

KPSC LSGI Secretary (LSGS) Exam 2024 Exam date.
Kerala PSC released the notification for LSGS posts on 29th December, 2023. The last date to apply for LSGS exam is 31st January, 2024. Local Self Government Secretary posts is called district-wise all over Kerala. Candidates can choose the desirable exam centres and district to which posting is desired at the time of application. PSC has recently released the date of 184 examinations. In which it has clearly mentioned that LSGS preliminar exam will be conducted in two stages. The first stage of exam is scheduled on 13th April, 2024 and second stage on 27th April 2024. Date of Mains examination will be decided after publishing the shortlist of candidates passed the prelims exam. PSC will decide the cutoff marks for shortlist after considering various criteria such as number of candidates appeared, normalization (if exam is conducted in multiple phases) etc.
As per the latest PSC exam calendar released by Kerala PSC the Degree level common preliminary examination for posts including Local Self-Government Secretary will be conducted n the months of April – June. And mains exam will be conducted in the months of August – October.
