JLT Sanskrit notification with category number 139/2024 was released on 15 June, 2024. The recruitment is being done for the department of Education. The Full Time Junior Language Teacher Sanskrit is called district-wise this time. The recruitment is conducted only for Thrissur and Palakkad districts.

JLT Sanskrit Qualifications

Candidates applying for JLT Sanskrit (full time) must possess the required qualifications as mentioned below.

  • SSLC or its equivalent
  • Degree in Sanskrit conferred or recognized by the Universities of Kerala

OR

A title of Oriental learning in Sanskrit awarded or recognised by any one of the Universities in Kerala.

OR

Oriental School leaving certificate (Sanskrit) issued by the Government of Kerala.

OR

A Pass in the preliminary Examination in Sanskrit conducted by any one of the Universities in Kerala.

OR

A Pass in the Pre-University or Pre-degree Examinations from the Sanskrit Colleges affiliated to the Universities in Kerala.

OR

A Pass in Sanskrit Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala.

OR

A Pass in the Pre-degree Examination with Sanskrit (Sahithya) and Sanskrit (Sastra) as optional subjects conducted by the Arts or Science Colleges affiliated to the universities in Kerala

OR

A pass in plus 2 course conducted by the Kerala Higher Secondary Directorate with Sanskrit (Sahithya), Sanskrit (Sasthra), History and Economics as combination.

All candidates must have passed the KTET category 4 as on the date of the application.

JLT Sanskrit Last Date to Apply

The last date to apply for JLT Sanskrit is 17 July, 2024. Candidates with required qualification must apply before the deadline. All applications must be submitted through online.
