Kerala PSC Draftsman Grade III (Civil)/Overseer Grade III (Civil)/Tracer Notification
Kerala PSC notification for Draftsman Grade III (Civil)/Overseer Grade III (Civil)/Tracer was published in September 2024. All job aspirants shall apply before the last day through online. The application can be submitted only through online. All applicants shall download the notification from PSC official website or through candidate profile now. The notification under category number 324/2024 is intended to recruit proficient candidates to the department of Harbour Engineering. The proposed pay-scale for the post is ₹ 26,500-60,700/-

Qualification
Candidates applying for the Draftsman Grade III (Civil)/Overseer Grade III (Civil)/Tracer posts must possess the following qualifications, as required by Kerala PSC.
The SSLC or equivalent qualification is the essential and all candidates must possess it.
Also, the candidates must be technically qualified with any of the following
- National Trade Certificate in Draftsman Civil or Surveyor.
OR
- Group Certificate in Kerala Government Certificate of Engineering
The group certificate includes the subjects: Building, Drawing, Building Construction and Irrigation
OR
- A pass in the Madras Government Technical Examination/Kerala Government Technical Examination in the following seven subjects
- Surveying and levelling (Higher)
- (ii) Applied Mechanics ( Higher)
- (iii) Building Materials and Construction (Higher)
- (iv) Building Drawing and Estimating (Higher)

Kerala PSC Draftsman Grade III (Civil)/Overseer Grade III (Civil)/Tracer Exam
Kerala PSC will be conducting the exam online or offline. The mode of exam will be intimated officially to candidates via notification or through the admission ticket. Candidates appearing for the exam must submit confirmation as and when notified by Kerala PSC. Those who miss the deadline of confirmation will be ousted from the recruitment drive. The candidates who act promptly according to the PSC guidelines will receive admission ticket online. You shall download it from the PSC candidate profile.
Exam Pattern
Kerala PSC conducts 100-mark exam for the selection of Draftsman Grade III (Civil)/Overseer Grade III (Civil)/Tracer Exam. Candidates will have to attend 100 questions. Each right answer carries 1 mark and wrong answer deducts 0.33 marks. After the carefully scrutiny of each responses by the candidates Kerala PSC will publish the short list. The list will include the candidates who have secure equal to or above the cut-off marks, decided by PSC. After the short list there will be an interview session. Each candidate in the shortlist will be invited to the session. Interview will be conducted for 10 marks. This will be combined with document verification. The final score for rank list will be the combined marks of interview session and the examination.
