Here is the latest news for CPO/WCPO candidates. The application window for category numbers 584/2023 and 593/2023 was active between 29th December, 2023 to 31st January, 2024. PSC has also released the combined number of applicants for CPO and WCPO towards various battalions, after the closure of application window. The overall trend shows a dip in the number of applicants. In its official release According to PSC’s official release the number of applicants was reduced only because the validity of ranked lists published during the selection process has been curtailed to 1 year.

Candidates preparing for Kerala PSC CPO & Women CPO exams check the respective battalions and number of applicants. With 32,082 candidates SAP Thiruvananthapuram) has the highest number of applicants followed by MSP (Malappuram). And KAP V (Idukki) Battalion has the least number of applicants. There is an overall reduction of 33% in the number of applicants compared to previous exam. Last time the total number of applicants was 2,52,552. Whereas in this year it has been reduced to 1,69,051.

Kerala PSC CPO WCPO Cut Offs

The down trend in the number of applicants cannot be any reason for the reduction of cut off marks. It depends upon various other aspects of the competition. Therefore, candidates are advised to check the previous year cut off marks and engage in a tight preparation strategy.

Kerala PSC CPO WCPO Exam Date

Both CPO and WCPO exams are included in PSC’s annual official calendar of exams for 2024. As per the calendar both the exams fall in the May – July 2024 exam cycle. PSC will publish the date of exam in exam calendar for the month in which it is decided to be conducted.

Kerala PSC CPO WCPO Confirmation

Once the exam date is published PSC will send the messages to give confirmation with OTP to candidates’ registered mobile number. The confirmation window will only be active for specific period. Therefore, the candidates must be careful and check the PSC official sites regularly to not miss the date. Those who have given the confirmation in time will receive the admission ticket in their profile and be able to participate in the recruitment process.

Kerala PSC CPO WCPO Syllabus
