The best part of this profession is its attractive PayScale which is between 45,600-95,600. The number of vacancies is not mentioned (Anticipated Vacancies). QUALIFICATION

  1. Post-Graduation+ M.Ed. or Post Graduation +B.Ed. +SET.
  2. Additional Qualifications such as MPhil/PhD /Post-Doctoral Fellowship (postdoc) will be considered.
  3. The following category is exempted from SET Qualification:
  4. Those who have qualified SLET exam (State Level Eligibility Test).
  5. Those who have qualified NET (National Eligibility Test)/ JRF (Junior Research Fellowship)
  6. Those who have PhD/MPhil/M.Ed. in the concerned subject
  7. High School Teachers who completed ten years of service in General Education Subordinate Service.

KERALA PSC HSST EXAM 2021-2022 SYLLABUS

Kerala PSC HSST exam is generally conducted for teaching aspirants who wish themselves to be in the shoes of a Higher Secondary School teacher. The Vacancies are much more than previous years and for subjects like English there are two exams (HSST English Junior and HSST English Senior). The subjects included for Kerala PSC HSST exam are:
