IBPS RRB Notification

THE IBPS RRB notification for the recruitment towards various Grade A and B posts was released in the official website on 7^th June, 2024. All candidates should download IBPS RRB official notification.

As per the schedule for the exam the IBPS RRB preliminary exam must be in August 2024 and mains examination will be in September and / or October 2024.

The declaration of the Result of the mains examination will be in October 2024.

IBPS RRB Eligibility

Only candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria mentioned in the official notification should apply for the recruitment. The eligibility criteria of IBPS RRB exams spans over Nationality / Citizenship, Age Limit, Educational Qualification and Credit History. Let’s look into each of these criteria.

• Nationality / Citizenship

The candidates must be a citizen of India or a subject of either Nepal or Bhutan.

• Age Limit

Age Limit for various posts included in the current recruitment is as follows:

Candidates applying for Office Assistants (Multipurpose) must be born between 02.06.1996 and 01.06.2006 (both dates included)

For Officer Scale I (Assistant manager) candidates must be born between 03.06.1994 and 31.05.2006 (both dates included). Candidates representing various reservation categories are eligible for age relaxation in IBPS RRB exams.

• Educational Qualifications

Candidates should possess proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRB, in all the posts. Working knowledge of computer is desirable for the post. The specific educational qualifications required for various posts are

IBPS RRB Office Assistants (Multipurpose): Any degree from a recognized University or its equivalent.

IBPS RRB Assistant Manager (Officer Scale – I): Any degree from a recognized University or its equivalent. Candidates with degrees in following streams are preferred: Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management Law, Economics or Accountancy.

IBPS RRB Recruitment

The current IBPS RRB Notification is for the common recruitment process of IBPS RRB Assistant Manager and IBPS RRB Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Bank. There will be preliminary and main examinations for both posts. Both preliminary and mains examination will be objective type and online.

IBPS RRB Exam Pattern

The preliminary exam for IBPS RRB Office Assistants (Multipurpose) is for a total of 80 marks. There will be two sections of questions. 40 marks from Reasoning and 40 marks from Numerical ability. The exam duration is 45 minutes.

Similarly, preliminary exam for IBPS RRB Assistant Manager will have two sections, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. Maximum Marks awarded for each section is 40 and the duration of exam will be 45 minutes.

The mark distribution for the mains examination of IBPS RRB Office Assistant and Assistant Manager are as follows:

Candidates can choose Hindi or English for Language Test. Candidates appearing for the mains exam of RRB Office Assistant (Multipurpose) post should be prepared for the test Numerical Ability. And the candidates appearing for RRB Assistant Manager recruitment should be prepared for Quantitative Aptitude Test.

The preliminary examination in both the recruitments are qualifying in nature. For IBPS RRB Office Assistant recruitment, only the marks obtained in the mains examination will be considered for final rank list.

For IBPS RRB Assistant Manager recruitment, shortlist for the candidates eligible for interview will be prepared according to the performance in mains examination. The performance in interview and mains examination will be considered in preparing final rank list.

How to Apply IBPS RRB Online?

All candidates should follow the IBPS RRB apply online guidelines accurately. Any mistakes might end up in the rejection of application or candidature in future.

Only online applications shall be submitted for IBPS RRB 2024 recruitments. The authorities has clearly mentioned in their official IBPS RRB notification that no other means of application submissions are accepted.

The last date to apply for the exam will be 27.06.2024. Candidates must compete the applications form, uploads of particulars and online fee payment on or before the mentioned date.

Application fee for IBPS RRB Office Assistant and Assistant Manager post is ₹ 850/- for others and ₹ 175 /- for candidates from SC / ST / PwBD categories.

In order to apply candidates must visit IBPS RRB Common Recruitment Programme page in the official website. New candidates should click the “Click here for New Registration”. Enter basic information to get the provisional registration number and password. Both the details will be sent to the mobile number and Email provided at the time of registration. Save the details for future login purpose.

As the second step of application submission candidates should upload the Photograph, signature, left thumb impression, a hand written declaration. Candidates with special disability must submit the respective certificate during the registration. Additional candidates should capture their photograph through webcam or mobile phone during registration process.

As per the present IBPS RRB notification 8000+ vacancies has been reported across in various RRBs across India. The bank-wise details of RRB Office Assistants and Assistant Manager vacancies are as mentioned in the table below. Vacancies in certain banks are Not Reported, hence NR is entered against the respective vacancy coloumns.
